Dosage & Application
Ecoworm Sapropel Extract can be applied as a liquid spray or with a watering can directly onto plant leaves or as a soil drench. This helps restore essential nutrients and beneficial micro-organisms that plants and soil need to thrive.
Apply the extract during the main growing stages for rapid uptake, or use it to coat seeds before sowing to improve germination and early growth.
Best Time to Apply
Apply Ecoworm Sapropel Extract during the cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late afternoon, to protect beneficial microbes from UV rays.
When it’s raining, the fertiliser can be applied at any time, as the moisture helps the micro-organisms colonise the soil and plant roots while being naturally shielded from sunlight.
Compatibility & Benefits
Ecoworm Sapropel Extract is compatible with other organic fertilisers and can be used alongside them for best results. It is environmentally friendly and does not contaminate water sources.
This product is especially recommended for depleted, saline, or eroded soils, and for soils that have been treated with chemical fertilisers for long periods.
Regular use rebuilds soil structure, improves fertility, and stimulates beneficial microbial life, helping plants grow stronger and more resilient.

FAQ
What is sapropel?
Sapropel is a biologically active organic sediment formed over more than 10,000 years at the bottom of freshwater lakes.
It’s naturally rich in nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, amino acids, humic acids, and essential micro-elements.
This unique composition helps regenerate soil, restore fertility, and strengthen plant resistance to diseases such as root rot while suppressing harmful bacteria.
Is Ecoworm Sapropel Extract produced in an environmentally sustainable way?
Yes — absolutely.
Ecoworm Sapropel Extract is made from sapropel sediment that’s collected as a by-product of freshwater lake restoration and cleaning projects.
This process helps improve water quality, restore aquatic ecosystems, and prevent over-sedimentation — making it beneficial for both nature and agriculture.
By using this recovered natural material, Ecoworm ensures that no new environmental disturbance occurs.
The collected sediment is processed responsibly, without the use of chemicals or synthetic additives, and the entire production cycle is closed-loop and low waste.
In other words, Ecoworm Sapropel Extract is not only organic and safe — it actively supports environmental restoration.
How do the ‘perfect dose’ 1 L bottles work?
Each 1 L bottle includes a dosator cap.
Simply open the cap, squeeze the bottle gently, and it releases the exact amount you need — no mess, no waste.
What should I not do with Ecoworm Sapropel Extract?
- Do not store in direct sunlight (UV light kills microbes).
- Do not add anything, including water, into the bottle.
- Do not keep diluted solution — always use it fresh. A stored mix will spoil after a day or two.
Can I mix Ecoworm Sapropel Extract with other fertilisers?
Yes. Ecoworm Sapropel Extract can be used alongside other organic fertilisers to enhance their effectiveness.
However, it should not be mixed with chemical fertilisers, as they can reduce microbial activity.
Can I mix Ecoworm products with pesticides?
No. Pesticides destroy the beneficial biology in the extract. Apply Ecoworm Sapropel Extract separately from any pesticide treatments.
Storage
Ecoworm Sapropel Extract can be stored for years if out of direct sunlight. Store at 5-30ºC.
