Ecoworm Humate

What is Ecoworm Humate?

Ecoworm Humate is a highly concentrated liquid extract derived from the finest organic vermicompost. It contains valuable soil microbes, plant-available nutrients, and minerals. This versatile solution serves as a fertiliser, re-builder, conditioner, and natural pest and disease control.

Being a living product, Ecoworm Humate houses dormant microorganisms ready to awaken and repair degraded soils. It facilitates the conversion of nutrients and minerals into an organic state for optimal plant consumption. Rest assured, our extract is organic, chemical-free, and safe for use around humans, pets, and environmentally sensitive areas.

What does it do?

Ecoworm Humate provides vital support to plants and soil by delivering beneficial micro-organisms, humic and fulvic acids, and plant growth enzymes. It revitalises the micro-organisms and biology that chemical fertilizers may have harmed, while supplying essential macro- and micro-nutrients, minerals, vitamins, natural antibiotics, amino acids, and beneficial soil bacteria crucial for robust plant growth.

By capturing and storing a wide array of nutrients, Ecoworm Humate ensures a steady supply for plants when needed, unlocking previously inaccessible nutrients. Furthermore, it enhances soil structure, improves water retention capabilities, and creates an ideal environment for the proliferation of beneficial micro-organisms.

1. Feeds plants and micro-life.

Effectiveness of Ecoworm Humate

Vermicompost is not just another waste reduction method, because in nature there is no waste. Everything is reused and made into something of a greater value for the sustenance of life. Over 100 years ago Charles Darwin was the first to observe the effect of earthworms and castings they produced. Benefits of vermicompost, attained through an amazing interplay of biology, chemistry and microbiology sciences, led to the production of an extraordinary soil amendment and plant nutrient. Scientific studies have proved that treating plants with extracts of vermicompost result in better plant growth and decreased instances of disease. Ecoworm Humate is ideal if you are seeking for a product to rebuild your soil, while inoculating it with full range of soil microbes required to cycle minerals and nutrients.

In the picture you can see sugar beet grown in sandy (left) and clay (right) soils. All of them were sprayed with mineral fertilisers, while some of them were treated with Ecoworm Humate. It is visible that treated sugar beet benefited from Ecoworm Humate by having higher overall mass, and stronger root system.

How is Ecoworm Humate produced?

We have spent a decade developing products that are natural and biologically based to rebuild depleted chemical abused soils. We have developed world’s leading technology in extracting soil microbes from vermicompost and this technology is only operated by us and only available on our site. Ecoworm Soil Extract is produced by the following steps below:

Step 1: Farming earthworms - Feed worms with organic waste and collect their castings.

Step 2: Removing earthworms - Place earthworms in newly created compost heaps to continue the production cycle.

Step 3: Producing extract - Load the worm castings into specifically engineered machinery, separating liquid from solids.

Step 4: Preserving microbiology, nutrients and beneficial properties - Extract liquid keeping the microbes alive, maintaining them in a dormant state.

Step 5: Packaging product- Fill bottles/containers with the concentrated liquid, and prepare for shipment.

Ecoworm Humate is applied as a liquid spray or by watering can onto plant leaf surfaces or as a soil drench to re-apply all the beneficial micro-organisms and nutrients that the soil and plants require. Apply Ecoworm Humate on plants during the growth stage for immediate uptake and coat seed at sowing for greater strike rate. Fertiliser can be applied using normal agricultural spray equipment, with increased jet size so that there is no harm for the micro-organisms during the application. Use low pressure when fertilising, so that micro-organisms do not get killed.

Mix 10L-20L/ha (4-8L/acre) with water according to the calibration on your sprayer. E.g. If your sprayer puts out 100L per hectare, use 90-80L of water with every 10L-20L of Ecoworm Humate. The water rate is not critical. It acts as a carrier to distribute 10L-20L/ha (4-8L/acre) across plants and/or seeds if doing in-furrow fertilisation.

Ecoworm Humate can be easily adapted to fertigation systems.

Lawn / Pasture:
Apply 10-20L/ha (4-8L/acre) in growth times such as Autumn and Spring or other growth opportunities due to irrigation or seasonal influences. There is no stock withholding period. Animals may even remain in the paddock during spraying.

1. Inoculate seed with Ecoworm Humate at 10L/tonne or use in liquid inject systems at 10L/ha (4L/acre).

2. Apply 10-20L/ha (4-8L/acre) of Ecoworm Humate at the 3-leaf stage.

3. Apply 10-20L/ha (4-8L/acre) as a top dressing if required.

Horticulture / Viticulture / Orchard:
Apply Ecoworm Humate 3 to 4 times a year up till harvest with no withholding period.

Apply Ecoworm Humate during the coldest part of the day, such as early morning or late afternoon, so that UV rays do not affect the beneficial biology. When it is raining, the growth stimulant can be applied at any time, as the micro-organisms will use this available moisture to colonise the plant and soil, while being protected from the UV rays.

Ecoworm Humate is also compatible with other fertilisers. It is environmentally friendly and does not contaminate water courses.

WARNING! Never apply a food source into your Ecoworm Humate drum!

The fertiliser is microbial based, and we have managed to get the biology into dormancy, which allows us to store the living product. If you let any source of food to enter the container such as fish or molasses, the micro-organisms will wake up, consume all the oxygen inside the drum and then die, leaving you with stinky useless liquid. Make sure the food activator is only added to the spray tank or watering can, not to the drum, otherwise any leftover extract will be wasted.

Visual Response Signs

Short term

  • Larger root systems; good strike; fast germination
  • Reduction in signs of pests in pasture/crops
  • Colour change in crops
  • Stock preferential feeding on Ecoworm Humate treated areas

Long term

  • Diversity of pasture
  • Change in soil colour
  • Higher stocking rates
  • Increase in stock health eg. less grass tetany, mastitis, foot diseases
  • Sponge like soil

Ecoworm Humate can be stored for years if out of direct sunlight, and in rather cool place. One of our company’s benefits is that with our developed technology we are able to store our fertiliser without the microbes dying. The micro-organisms in Ecoworm Humate fall asleep and wake up once they get oxygen. This is one the biggest problems of our competitors, whose aerated worm teas and compost teas must be used within hours of brew aeration finishing.

  • Strong results on the pumpkins and squashes

“We are currently ahead in terms of fruit size from last year and crops are encouragingly heavy and linear, our disease resistance across the crops has been relatively strong and we are aware upon talking to other suppliers that the growing season has taken it’s toll this year, which we have not noticed. We are certainly happy with our first year applying Ecoworm Humate and look forward to more field tests in the future.” Read more..

  • Healthy soil and a great looking lawn

“I’m just a keen amateur lawn enthusiast who is learning on the ‘mow’ picking up tips and inspiration from one week to the next. I came across Ecoworm Humate product by chance and have applied it for approx 2 years. I did a full lawn renovation as shown on my instagram page and before I sowed the seed and regularly through the early growing stages I sprayed with Ecoworm the result is in the above picture. I continue to spray every 4 weeks which I firmly believe contributes to healthy soil and a great looking lawn.”
